What were you doing before your MBA?
Tax Consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers in London
What were your main reasons for deciding to attend business school?
- To gain a broader business education
- To facilitate career progression
What research did you undertake in selecting your school?
- Spoke to friends who had attended business school
- Attended World MBA Tour in London
- Reviewed materials on MBA school website
- Attended MBA school open day
What were the main criteria in your selection?
- One-year MBA programme
- High in rankings
- Affiliation to major university
Why did you decide to study either in your own country or overseas?
Most good one-year MBA programmes are in Europe, and as I only speak English fluently, Britain was my resulting choice.
How well do your think the MBA is regarded in your home country?
When I applied it was the top one-year MBA programme in the UK
It is still regarded as a strong programme, particularly enhanced by the affiliation to the University of Cambridge.
How are you financing your studies?
PricewaterhouseCoopers (my employer) are paying my tuition fees, I am funding the rest.
What do you expect to do on graduation and where do you expect to be based?
Return to PricewaterhouseCoopers, either to London or New York
How easy or difficult do you expect it to be to achieve these objectives?
Easy, as a large career change is not involved.
